Calling a prosecutor “deranged” for enforcing the law is the inversion of accountability. Our assessment warns that when leaders portray lawful investigations as persecution, they are dismantling the rule of law itself.
Ed Martin: "What this pardon does is help rescue the people who were hunted. The Biden administration hunted the alternate electors who were participating in our constitutional process in 2020 ... they were Trump supporters who believed in the Constitution."

In our assessment, we discuss the Administration’s efforts to control information in an attempt to redefine what is knowable and who is permitted to speak with authority. These legislators are fighting back trying to preserve an accurate accounting of history.

While GOP lawmakers and the Trump administration have downplayed the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, there are state efforts underway to ensure it's recorded for history.

Executive overreach doesn’t just test our Constitution. It undermines alliances. The U.K. halted intel sharing about suspected drug trafficking vessels after it saw U.S. military strikes as illegal. When the executive operates without transparent legal or congressional review, trust erodes abroad.

Eliminating trust in source material outside state sponsored propaganda is a key objective of this republican administration’s destruction of our country. This guide helps you sort through the bullshit. Doing this is a necessary step to resist becoming a lemming. Be a participant not an observer.

Investigating real efforts to overturn the 2020 election isn’t “lawfare.” It’s the rule of law at work. What’s dangerous is fabricating false “facts” to attack lawful investigators like Jack Smith and calling investigators treasonous for upholding democracy.
Michael Rulli: "Jack Smith, in my opinion, this is treasonous. Let that word sink it. That's what this is. Jack Smith and his little clownies will destroy this republic. They say w/the snake, you cut off the head. If he's leading this, we have to let future people know we're not gonna put up w/this"

Authoritarians rewrite history through legal means. Trump’s pardons aim to erase guilt and turn those who subverted democracy into victims. Democracy’s record-keeping collapses when power defines truth.

Contact my attorney (NOT associated w/ the regime), prepare to be fired & I'd make a decision based on my morals.

Yes I would lose my job & all it's benefits. But a new career in a Revolution is available! I can live w/ myself unemployed. I can't if I allign myself w/ these loathsome bastards.

This reflects an authoritarian indicator we identified in our assessment: assault on public knowledge and civil society. It mirrors Cold War propaganda, presenting a whitewashed, idealized past to define a desired future, reinforcing who is valued and who is excluded from economic opportunity.

An authoritarian leader praising the “good work” of the White House Press Secretary, and her public thanks in return, shows their shared values. It should be a warning to us all.
