Lmao, the self lionizers are doing some medium lifting on this post
i don't particularly disagree with a lot of the critiques of anarchist activism by liberals but I bristle when they act as if their best practices are any wiser. we're here because none of us figured out how to avoid being here.

everyone should have some goddamn humility.

Lmao, my wife is a Radical Liberal in the overt technical sense of wanting to vote for sherrifs at the precinct level as replacement to current policing regime, so these colloquial Radical Liberals are nothing to me.

I am not any kind of insider, but this was widely understood in the Seattle area. The scuttlebutt was he said he told her everything and then more came out and that was that. Bill allegedly openly conducted affairs, which is their marital business. This was apparently too much.
In an interview with NPR, Melinda French Gates confirmed that she ended her marriage with Bill Gates because of allegations contained in the Epstein files.

Explaing to Liberals I have a voting ritual with the wife that involves drinking and soup, and this drives basal voting impulse, and then enthusiasm and fuck you drive the nuance

I do need to start a list of unworkable political opinions, starting with education as a way to avoid politicking effort and play.

Fucking surreal that people dressed like this and carrying assault rifles are permitted to kidnap people off our streets

I would simply start working on a syncretic political ideology that speaks to the conditions rather than trying to straight jacket conditions into my political ideology and then finding a scapegoat when that doesn't work.

FAQ: 'why are people 3d printing whistles instead of getting injection molded ones'

an answer: faster and about as cheap once you consider what it takes to warehouse and ship bulk bags of whistles, but also 3d printed whistles can be optimized for loudness per price or size, and way out perform.

Every single Liberal being like 'you don't know how to do a mass movement' is operating on 50 years of Liberals not doing mass movements themselves and trying to electorally recoup on them the moment they start.

Pointing to dead people isn't you knowing how to do it on the ground daily.

Prefigurative organization probably would...

You know what, nevermind, that's as likely to happen as some reactive method of keeping the wrong people out after exposure to them.
This is a thing permanent activists do. They leech onto other more successful movements and start telling everyone what to do, then widen the scope to unrelated issues.

Remember the Women’s March? BLM? Occupy? It keeps happening again, and again, and again.
Okay, I'm now hearing reports of other locals being removed from Minnesota rapid response for interacting with press, as well as some "organizers" instituting onerous screening processes to join these networks.

It's time for local leaders to step in. These policies are incredibly counterproductive.

You gotta check out the quote toots that are preemptively declaring 'it's over', like, say what you will about people who ruin things, but the sense of things being ruined is hair trigger for people that more or less want to backseat drive a bandwagon they'd join, and then never join.

I can steelman it tactically, not as much strategically, and the specific dumpster fire in the video doesn't fit the steelman tactical case which would be - it creates a distracting impediment that doesn't require you keep standing there to sustain it.

A dumpster on its own is an impediment.
i guess i would like to hear the theory on which setting fire to a random dumpster advances the cause of stopping ice

Three rules in FBI firearm training:

1. Always point your weapon downrange
2. Do not point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot
3. Don’t put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to shoot

Guns are not for threatening compliance for unarmed people doing things you don’t like
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

Seeing this millions of times, basically it's

"This sucked, was not it"->"Do you accept a conditional framework where that is it"->"Yes, but this isn't within that framework, or this just sucked"

And then most of it about litigating a framework and the person who holds it.
It's really cool how any time that someone does something ethically dubious in service of a political cause the hikikomori leftists of the world turn it into an abstract conversation about violence versus nonviolence instead of "was this act, specifically, ok"

Screaming in 'total compliance and enforcing total compliance is besides the point'
Is it possible to 100% enforce requirements to wear a seatbelt when in a moving vehicle?

No, it is physically impossible.

And yet we require people to wear them nevertheless, because a) even lossy enforcement can change behaviour and b) laws can create clear expectations about behaviour
