Thinking more about No Rest for the Living and its cool how there's like very few monster closet style traps
rather than throw a bunch of monsters in your face, most "traps" instead release monsters in older areas that you'll circle back to later

One of the things that's gonna hasten the death of the live service model is how not being the very top dog isn't good enough for investors
people are learning to not even check out games that look good because the chances of the doors closing within only a couple years is too high

I love looking at soundtracks for doom wads cuz like obviously not all of them can really get a full original soundtrack so sometimes they'll just pilfer songs from other games

Watching/reading doom reviews and I feel like hardcore old doom heads care more about aesthetics than actual gameplay, which is a bit surprising to me

ok like the discord thing sucks but what sucks more is we keep letting officials pass these shitty "think of the children" laws that put our user data at risk and isolate teens from their online social groups
look up what laws they're trying to pass in your area and annoy the fuck out of your reps!

I have no horse in this race but this gotta be like one of the worst remake efforts I've seen
The result is a game that feels like it was rushed out the door.
