Matthew Whewell, a pillar of the Prism community, has been working on this guide for months. It's been truly amazing to follow the progress on this guide, and I know it's helped quite a few people get a handle on the hardest deck in the game. Strong recommend! (and its free) #fabtcg

I regret to inform you that the romance of "writing on a laptop while wistfully staring out the window on a train" is ruined in reality by screaming infants and track turbulance

Legal and political instruments are value-neutral. It's all "jury nullification good" until a jury of all white men refuses to convict a police officer for murdering a black boy, or [insert one of a countless number of examples]
Is it jury nullification, or is it the sovereign (the people of the United States of America, constitutionally) determining that a state of exception is necessary? Can someone print this out and glue it to the door of Vermeule's office.

What's going on here? Kanos in Purple discord are reporting at least five ProQuest wins, which would put Kano above the Living Legend threshold, but this has it under. This matters for people playing at Worlds.
The Pro Quest Week 5 results are in, and three heroes have climbed to third place on the Classic Constructed leaderboard! Kassai, Florian, and Kayo are rising to the top ☝️

Update: it is bullshit that you do not get "I voted" stickers in this country
Jsuis un peu irritée que les bureaux de vote a Montréal n'ouvrert qu'a 10h ce matin. Le metro était fermé a 9h30, donc c'était impossible de voter avant de partir. ;_;
Aux États, j'étais toujours fière d'être une des premières électrices à 6h du matin.

as an asian woman, I'm going to run for public office by evoking the only real blue collar job: resturant worker in an asian fast food place where the lady behind the corner yells at the chef in angry cantonese
All a straight white man has to do is grow a beard and put on jeans and flannel, and voila: he has automatic Blue Collar Credibility, even if he actually grew up with a trust fund.
ONY white males get the Assumed Blue Collar nod simply by putting on an outfit, too. Doesn’t work for anyone else.

interesting that people are treating his blue collar aesthetic as equivalent to having a blue collar upbringing

Turns out other commonwealth countries also struggle with standardization of spelling

Also can we standardize the pronounciation of "left tenent" vs "loo tenent"
also "why why zee" vs "why why zed"
also "why why zee" vs "why why zed"
What's the correct spelling of grey/gray?
judgement/judgment
check/cheque
defense/defence
organize/organise
I'm happy to follow a prescriptive spelling just TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO

My perhaps not very important take is that English Canada needs a language board similar to the OQLF to standardize Canadian English. I'm sick of looking up the "right way to spell something" and being told "its X in the US and Y in the UK so ehh figure it out"
