A university police officer said, “but he’s going to medical school next year…” when I asked them to contact the NYPD after my sexual assault workup detected rohypnol. So anyways, my rapist is an ER doctor in Maine now.
These universities will call in riot police to respond to peaceful protests, but their response to the widespread nature of rape on campus is to try to (a) ignore it or (b) bury any ask for redress in process.
