It's weird to not only have lived through an information revolution but also now living through its undoing, all within less than a generation.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

Thought someone was joking when they said it was tension between sitters and standers, but looked it up and that is exactly what it was.
But its no laughing matter: someone might have thrown out their back trying to lean forward and grumble at their opponent.
You gotta go pick up your uncle, yeah he mixed up his medicines and went crazy yelling about Uncle Tupelo songs again

AKA: Why does everybody have ADHD now
Sometimes I think about how for much of history everyone was medicated on booze, nicotine, cocaine, hasish, opiates, amphetamines, etc., and now we're all expected to just be out here raw-dogging life

Hanging out in cemeteries is a Goth Kid rite of passage
Graceland Cemetery seems to have a few black squirrels now. On recent visits, I've seen two or three of them in various places.
