Emily's thread offers the best praxis for most situations but, alas, is up against how endorphins of the too online crowd (i.e. most of us) have been reprogrammed after years to decades.
What if fighting for justice didn’t look like morally counteracting every little thing you find immoral but rather simply acting as a positive, public example of the virtues you wish to see in the world without any recourse or reference to the things that suck.

One shouldn't have to be a Marxist engaging in material analysis to grasp this. Even Florida's regressive American Vs. Communism class (required until 91) taught the system was subject to revision by law or amendment. The neoliberal system stasis "give up" BS seems like Clinton/Blair era brain rot.
Whenever people say “Well the Democrats simply don’t have the power to [fight the GOP/stop Trump/hold ICE agents responsible for their actions” I always hope they will jump to “so we should change the system that causes that reality” but it almost never comes, instead it’s just “So quit asking"
