Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power

- file impeachment articles every day in the House

- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee

- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

Democrats need to understand that they can just say “It’s insane to threaten Greenland” and “I don’t think ICE should murder Americans in the street” and you don’t need to pretend to link it to the affordability crisis.

Say bad things are bad.

I genuinely did not think it was possible for them to be this spineless. Like, wow.

At this point it’s clear these people stand for nothing. It’s important to beat Trump in the midterms, but it’s just as important these Dems are all primaried.
Some Democrats hate that their party is largely positioning itself in opposition to the operation that resulted in Maduro's capture.

"Everything Trump touches must be bad according to the base," one House Dem told @axios.com

Said another: "It looks weak." www.axios.com/2026/01/04/m...

Talarico: In 2024, Trump met with oil executives and promised them a ‘great deal’ in exchange for $1 billion in contributions.

And now Trump thanked them with a gift — the nation of Venezuela, home to the largest oil reserves in the entire world.

We have to recognize how corrupt this new war is

WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.
