Please Do Not Release Any More Epstein Files, They Are Not Important, by A Guy In The Epstein Files
Well that helps to explain this Brooks column from last month.

The key factor that everyone seems to always forget is that Trump was the host of what was once the highest rated show on network TV - a purportedly non-fiction show that portrayed him as a hyper-savvy and hyper-successful businessman.
Trump has gotten huge numbers of infrequent voters to the polls, twice. He's deeply unpopular but has mobilized a large, unprecedented coalition of Americans motivated by some combination of ignorance, avarice, and cruelty. It is hard to describe what he has as something other than charisma
His charisma is fundamentally incompatible with me (and likely many of the people on Bluesky) but it’s kind of insane to say it doesn’t exist

We are hurtling toward climate chaos.

The consequences of human-driven alterations of the climate are here now.

This unfolding emergency stems from failed foresight, political inaction, unsustainable economic systems, and misinformation.

It seems to me that the time is ripe for a Bluesky thread about how—and maybe even why—to befriend crows.

One thing that isn’t remarked upon enough is that Gunn making a hit with Superman, and running DC, is a decisive victory against Gamergate-style bad faith attacks from the right. It can be done, and it should be noted, and celebrated as such.
James Gunn, on this week's Peacemaker podcast, talks about how Disney fired him from Guardians 3 after bad-faith right-wing trolls hammered the company. He recalls going through a dark time, realizing he had good friends who loved him, creatively realigning, and now he's running a movie studio.

Last post tonight. We aren't supposed to speculate out loud but you asked. I can't tell you who the Charlie Kirk shooter might be, but I have a guess who it isn't, a lefty. I don't think anyone on the left cared enough about Kirk to do this. He just wasn't that important. Goodnight.

I use an uncensored model as a sparring partner and it seriously degrades after only a dozen prompts. When that happens, you have to throw it away and start fresh. OpenAI knew about this problem and chose to just... Sweep it under the rug. And now a kid is dead
Torch the business, jail the CEO, sanction the devs. “Safety training may degrade” what a crock of shit
