5pm: block rush hour traffic for no particular reason
6pm: kill another dog
7pm: ignore call about armed masked men kidnapping someone, assume it's ICE and totes legit

We didn’t think the leopards would eat the resale value on our houses.
My friend lives in Roxbury NJ where ICE is trying to buy a warehouse to convert into a detention center and she says they’re trying to fight it. Apparently many of the people fighting are Trump supporters who voted for deportations but are worried the concentration camp will ruin property values.

An entire political movement founded on uncovering hidden messages in documents to discover the powerful secret pedophiles and meanwhile the powerful pedophiles out here sending gmails saying "Hi fellow pedophile when are we meeting to do pedophilia again"
Disgusting.

In an email on Sept. 11, 2013, Mr. Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, wrote to Mr. Epstein, “It was really nice seeing you yesterday.” He added: “Any time you’re in the area would love to see you. As long as you bring your harem!”

I’m careful with “genius”—I’m even careful with “artist”—but Catherine O’Hara was both and we scarcely deserved her.

Macaulay Culkin pays tribute to his on-screen mother Catherine O’Hara:

“Mama. I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much to say. I love you. I'll see you later.”

It’s so heavy when you are going to get groceries and you find a car sitting with its windows broken out and it’s empty but still running and someone’s stuffed animals or pictures or papers are just laying all over the road. I have personally seen at least five of these in the last three days alone
ICE's decision to just leave cars abandoned in the roads is one of those dystopian things that makes you recoil in shock when you encounter it.
A legal asylum-seeker who works at Chipotle and plays music at a church in Maine went missing. His pastor searched and searched, eventually finding his abandoned car with the keys on the floor.

ICE grabbed him. No criminal record. No explanation.

there’s a lot going on in the world but our busted evil corrupt lawless police force has a new socials strategy that local media (not Tessa obvs) just thinks is so cute (look! an officer sledding while wearing his gun! heartwarming!) and it is making me ill
If I were the social media manager of a police department that was found to have routinely violated the civil rights of the community it serves, and also had to pay out $200K for a sexual harassment lawsuit a mere month ago, I would simply not post things like this.

But that's just me!

And every one of these cases will ultimately be resolved by 6 fucking judges on the most racist and regressive Supreme Court in modern history.
Since July, I've tracked at least 2,300 cases in which federal judges have ruled ICE has illegally detained people without bond or due process.

This is one that stands out:

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

At the end of the day, the Black Lives Matter era was about whether people should be killed in the street, and lots of people decided yeah and put those little blue flags on their cars. It spread to everyone because it stopped for no one.

If you’re not from here, I need to explain this execution was on Eat Street, a commercial corridor of restaurants and coffee shops that literally everyone goes to. Normies, queermos, weirdos, neighborhood folks. Whatever that place is in your city, imagine ICE executing someone in cold blood there.

I’m so sick of people throwing their hands up and saying abolishing ICE isn’t possible right now. Abolishing ICE is extremely popular and calls to do so will only continue to grow, meanwhile conservatives manage to do incredibly unpopular things all the time because nobody stops them
