After listening to a composer discuss how ai is transforming & destroying his industry, I was driven to create this piece. Embroidered on my hand-controlled #chainstitchembroidery machine w my interpretation of a famous woodcut of a Luddite destroying a jacquard loom.

Let me remind you: these men would fold with one solid roast from a Somali teenager, and that makes them exponentially weaker than the average public school teacher.

Precautions are good, but this is a good reminder that they are mostly directionless and weak online haters.
It’ll be a miracle if they make it to the Cedar bridge.
Downtown Minneapolis currently—

Jake Lang and a handful of other racists/RW propagandists are surrounded by about 50 cameras and some antifascists chanting him down. A banner the group arrived with has been broken.

I realise I'm just a freak, but living in a multicultural city is the best thing of all time, it's just the best possible human experience and i can not understand why anyone on earth would be like "weve got to destroy this"

Siiiiiick
every single successful general strike in US history has had union backing through the local AFL-CIO

this is the first time it’s been called for since the 1940s

If you’re in the Twin Cities and want to do the most minimal thing to annoy ICE, drive the fucking speed limit. These goons get so angry when 20 is plenty.

American Indian Movement (AIM) patrol trucks have been spotted around NE and folks are flagging them as suspicious and giving them unwelcoming glances because they don’t know who they are. This is the AIM logo and flag, which you might see on their trucks. They are friends!

Set myself a 10min timer for doom scrolling and told my partner I'd give him $20 if I exceeded. It worked! Do recommend.

Ok fellow skeeters - this is how we take care of each other. I’ll match the next 1,000$ in donations. Reply below when you donate.
Hey folks Calvary Food Shelf has been helping out people in Minneapolis for 30 years, and now they’re ramping up to meet the crisis, including doing home deliveries so people don’t have to risk going out.

They’re just over halfway to their current goal—let’s get them all the way, shall we?

unicorn riot were great in 2020 here but there’s too many streamers now and when you’re coming into cities where you don’t live to run around residential areas treating it like like it’s your war zone assignment maybe you should rethink what you’re doing in other people’s neighborhoods and go home

The Powderhorn Park neighborhood has been the biggest target of immigration enforcement in Minnesota. It’s home to a large immigrant community who is now struggling to pay rent. Kidnappings are on the rise because people cannot stay home. Please help us out. Link is in my bio.

I've been telling people that the reason this is happening in no small part is because they see urban white Minnesotans as race traitors. For having a semi-integrated society at all, but also for 2020.

A lot of non-Minnesotans are asking how they can help people in the Twin Cities. Here's a very easy way that will cost you absolutely nothing.

Do not vent in the replies to videos or other posts from Minnesotans.

We're all on edge, and your rageposting and doomposting isn't what we need right now.

This is Minneapolis:

You are doing ICE watch at school pick up at a bilingual Catholic school, there are almost no kids there today. You are standing next to an empty flag pole mount where green and blue ribbons are still tied in memory of the children killed at Annunciation.

It is not enough to abolish ICE. We are going to need to plan to offer restitution and safe harbor to their victims.

One thing I’d like to see is my senators and governor every day on tv at 5pm holding a press conference with video of every documented abuse that ICE is doing. Curate all of the witnessing we’re doing and show it to the press.
Local parents groups asking if adults can ride school buses to help protect children from ICE after a special ed bus got stopped this morning. Like a Dirty Harry movie except the villain in the federal government.
