Censuring this also contributes to the underdevelopment of critical thinking.
More and more people lately take everything literally or not think that there is a subtext behind it. Which is very dangerous and more now with the increase of GenAI brainroot flooding into everything.

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."

🧵So I'm writing an idea about kids on the internet coming up with creepypasta cryptids/weird guys who have a chance of becoming real, though generated by a kind of exquisite corpse method of one post after another putting a single short sentence into a thread until you've built up a weird creature.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Chiitan loves all transgender people.
I've received a lot of criticism for expressing my support, but what's more important is that all transgender people live happy lives.

I had no idea that the phrase “Back to the old drawing board” comes from this Peter Arno cartoon from March 1st 1941’s New Yorker. It’s rather splendid to be able to date the birth of what would become part of everyday speech with such precision.

I searched libgen itself, and it turns out they have almost every book Iron Circus has ever published. They don't show up in the Atlantic Search because they were uploaded without author names.

@ironcircuscomics.bsky.social authors could help destroy them singlehandedly.
