Did I...did I invent this French cartoonist? Are my characters entering reality to take revenge like in a bad Stephen King coke story? Oh shit, did I create the obviously fake pocket universe we're all trapped in right now? I am so, so sorry.

The deal would literally just be a promise of a vote on the ACA in December, which of course would go nowhere, which is why we are saying don’t cave for a promise

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

This makes sense when you understand that Tesla is currently valued at $1.4 trillion, of which maybe $30 billion is based on its worth as a car company and the other $1,370,000,000,000 is based on the estimated resale value of Elon Musk's invisible clothes
Tesla CEO Elon Musk scored a resounding victory on Thursday as shareholders approved a pay package of as much as $878 billion over the next decade, endorsing his vision of morphing the EV maker into an AI and robotics juggernaut.

The reason they fight so hard, loud, crazy, lying at every opportunity, exaggerating everything until it makes no sense - is that they know if they lose, they’re going to prison. We have to make sure they go there.

Seems like now would be a really good time for a comic book publisher to step in and produce some official tie-in graphic novels to put some new stories out there while fans wait for the next movie, doesn't it?

It's not great that somehow we all got Donnie Darko'd into an untenable collapsing pocket universe of cruel absurdities, but it has its moments.
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.
The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.
"I could smell the onions and mustard."
