The thing that struck me while watching Best In Show last night, is if you took a total neophyte who had never heard of or seen any of these actors, you could almost certainly convince them it's a real doc pretty much until Fred Willard shows up

What O'Hara and Levy brought to these characters, in particular, just floors me. They're only one of three plot threads in A Mighty Wind, but the unspoken yearning, this love that's more beautiful for being lost... they're devastatingly funny, but also just devastating.
