Instead of the British knee-jerk ‘It’s not to my personal taste – it should be banned!’
Make the basic legal principle that ‘victimless crimes’ should be just *not be crimes* where people are just doing their own thing
(And, if any exceptions, precise and limited)
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

It's a great cosmic joke that neurodivergence both runs in families and gets diagnosed based on parent reports. I was diagnosed at 30 because a man who has eaten potatoes every day for 57 years and a woman who collects loose buttons decided I was a perfectly normal child.

I’m not one for conspiracies but one must admit, the gazillionaire obsession with funding AI, does align nicely with the goal of advancing video generation past the point of detection so that - say - footage of someone raping a 14 year old could no longer be considered ‘iron clad’.

Bottom-of-the-food-chain drug dealers have better opsec than the world’s most powerful elites
The nuclear codes were 1234.
The Louvre security password was Louvre.
Elite sex-conspirators list their names and crimes in emails and birthday cards to one another.

At least Dan Brown had the church disguise its dark secrets by jumbling the letters up and doing mirror writing and lemon juice.

'Don't tell me you don't want to be out on strike - because that is exactly where you are. Own it.'

JD Vance owns a company that buys American real estate and sells it to foreign investors. They specifically target Americans in crisis to buy their property for less than it is worth.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Starmer was never meant to be Labour’s prime minister – his leadership was doomed from the start | Neal Lawson
His alliance with the party’s anti-Corbyn faction was a shotgun marriage that totally lacked vision. Now Labour is paying the price, says Neal Lawson of the cross-party campaign organisation Compass

My eldest is 14 and when I see him with his classmates I cannot fathom how any Adult could think that they aren’t really Children.

At a developmental level I understand the distinction, but they are still wholly Children. Every person in those emails needs to answer for their crimes
I see the “technically it’s ephebophelia” crowd is out today, so just a reminder that A) this is NOT a case where technically correct is the best kind of correct and B) the minute you say this, the gods dump you in the “irredeemable creeper” basket and wash their hands thoroughly after touching you.

A sane and correctly operating society would simply investigate everyone in those files and find the evidence to convict each one of them that definitely exists.

But no, we have to sit through columnists redefine what a child is, and Peter Mandelson saying Epstein wasn't what he was convicted of.
