This has an academic parallel. There’s a certain kind of syntax breakdown and other forms of language chaos you occasionally see in student essays that you come to recognise as signs of disordered thinking and more in need of pastoral care than standard marking. AI will flatten all that out.
The bigger change is presentation, historically, these emails were visually chaotic: sudden colour changes, ALL CAPS, screenshots pasted at random. Classic signs of disordered thinking. Now they’re neat, structured, and grammatically consistent. The delusion hasn't changed, but the formatting has.

The real tragedy in this whole Enoch Burke thing remains that, all this foolishness aside, he clearly has the exact temperament, judgement, humour, and cool vibes you'd want in your child's teacher.

First we have Altman claiming he needs “more electrons” and now this physics word salad. I know what’s motivating the AI grifters saying this stuff, but could fintech journalists please not just repeat it as if it makes sense??

Another bit of evidence for the theory that the return of the SAHM (especially in the US) is partly driven by the need for a full-time family administrator just to manage daily life. Obvs it being the woman of the family that does this involves other forces, but it does seem to be an issue.

My first academic job was in DKIT, and I had a great time working there - this seems like a really exciting move for them.
Ireland is getting its first cross-border college as Queen's and DkIT partner up
Dundalk Institute of Technology will be established as a university college of Queen’s University Belfast.

If you've ever wondered what it would look like if Hieronymus Bosch had designed Christmas cards, you're in luck!!
This mural has gone up in Kingston, ostensibly for Christmas but AI has ensured it's actually to celebrate the return of our dark lord Cthulhu

This was (as far as I know) an exclusively north American practice. When I first heard references to it in the 90s I genuinely thought people were joking. It’s absolutely unfathomable!!
If you are not in academia, you might not know this, but job interviews used to be held at conferences IN HOTEL ROOMS. Women candidates in a hotel room alone with often all-male committees. People sitting on beds! The horror stories I've heard.
I thing I sometimes thing about is that university departments were still doing job interviews in hotel rooms in the mid aughts

I’ll admit that I actually gasped slightly as I read that first paragraph.

Ban all private education, give every state school the same per capita funding/staffing, and everyone goes to their local school.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

I especially don’t appreciate this as someone who remembers the Berlin Wall falling.
The difference in time between now and I can has cheezburger

Is the same between I can has Cheezburger and the Berlin Wall falling

Deadloch S2 alert 🚨 the first season was probably the most enjoyable tv I’d seen since S1 of Rake. There’s something about Australian tv 🤔
🚨Deadloch heads: S2 of the Aussie crime satire/drama (it's good!) arrives on Amazon Prime March 20. Many chaotic Aussie weirdos return/debut. But HEADS UP they have added a Hemsworth (Luke)! This is not a drill! Kudos to the hair & costume team for this whole deal. www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/st...
