I've been asking young people (18-21) what they think about current politics and how they get info, and it's incredible how they have absolutely zero input from mass media outside insta/tiktok and how that's driving their political and pop culture views

thankfully I'm the flavor of autism that when I hear someone complaining about hearing Spanish spoken at the grocery store I call people out on it.

People made fun of me growing up for listening to music in different languages, mostly for racist and stupid reasons. "How do you know what they're saying?" I look it up if I want to know, but you can get a feel for music even without words, and with them, tone and delivery matters.
