And one day, you are exposed.

✊ From the late 19th century, socialist movements adopted the raised fist as a symbol of unity and strength.

One of the first depictions was by Hungarian artist Mihály Biró in 1912. His image of a fist emerging from factories toward parliament in Budapest visualised the power of collective action.

This Roman miniature skeleton with flexible joints, jumps and dances when shaken.
The Romans called these skeletons larva convivalis, meaning banquet ghost, and were handed out to guests at dinner parties to remind them to have fun while they were alive.

So I got a big and prestigious research grant but in another university and told them I was leaving and they would get 0 of my money 🤷🏻‍♀️

Here was the reported reaction of the US administration at the time:

Here’s a thought: Any legal analysis that goes deeper than a simple “the US administration’s attempts at justification are obviously blanket bullshit and the conduct is glaringly illegal and thus amounts to murder plain and simple“ is dangerous and damaging to the prohibition of the use of force.
Professors *never* supply information. Students aren’t paying premium prices for ‘information’ at all. How can people who presumably have attended universities misunderstand their role so badly?
Wow. Just wow.

If you think that professors exist as repositories of knowledge that students ask for answers, you’re missing the entire point of a college education.

We’re here to teach students how to do research, how to analyze and argue, how to think for themselves — how to find the answers on their own.
