Moronic challenge by Simons. Slow motion makes it look even worse giving referee very little choice.

Again not the defeat that bothers me as much as the manner of it. Yet another, not just poor, but woeful performance. I understand new managers need time to bed in but how you can get so little out of these players on such a consistent basis is beyond me #thfc

Another absolutely ludicrous VAR decision in the Liverpool game. Ruining the game bit by bit.

5 minutes to disallow the Liverpool goal. Ludicrous.

The Spurs-Slavia Pride flag story has some nuance but at its heart it's about a set of bigoted fans getting their way. It also exposes, again, that too much of what sport does in its DEI policies is actual virtue signalling. Either you believe in a principle and stick by it or you don't.
Fuck this shit.

Briefly saw on GMB this morning there was segment titled "Are Brits too lazy to work?" This, with attacks in the Mail on welfare state and Badenoch's ranting about "benefits street", show the right-wing targets shifting. They know immigration is falling and will drop further. Next target: the poor.
What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

I know many people are still angry about Brexit and think there has to be a process of repentance before rejoining the EU. But I think the most important thing is just to rejoin as soon as possible so people can put the whole affair into the past and forget about it.

Atmosphere at the Lane - before blaming the fans, take a look at the club. Tottenham On My Mind returns to familiar ground, the relationship between fans and the club

According to the laws of the game it’s clearly a penalty. Bentancur is making zero effort to play the ball and is obstructing and fouling Burn. The obvious problem is that this goes on at every single corner and set piece. Where now for the referees tonight and at the weekend?

But we do provide expectation. Take today’s game - probably a draw a decent result but if the score had finished level with us providing zero attacking threat I for one would have unhappy. Unlike most other clubs it’s not just about the result for us.

Inadvertently we play a part

The impossible job and not just because of the owners, we as fans are also an issue with our own unique expectations. But like Pochettino and Ange it has to be a front foot manager.

Im already done with Frank but with zero animosity. Mourinho and Conte I hated with a passion but just like Nuno, Frank is an obviously good manager who unfortunately is simply the wrong fit.

Yet again playing like an FA Cup underdog clinging on for a nil-nil and hoping for a last minute set piece to scrape through. So passive. Simply don’t understand what Frank is trying to do, he certainly doesn’t understand the club he’s now at.

once again, every note he plays is wrong.

Huge respect to the papers for finding both an 88 year old worried about the tax bill on her 6 bedroom Kensington house and a 20 year old fretting about only being able to save £12k a year tax free.
Top work all around. These are not easy case studies to find.

If you own a £2 million “house” then you can afford to pay a bit of extra tax. Yes it really is as simple as that.

Ultimately Frank is not a bad manager nor a bad person. He’s very likeable and clearly a very good tactician. Unfortunately, like so many others, he simply doesn’t understand “Tottenham” or rivalry. He’s absolutely tanked his honeymoon period and has to change his tactics and ambition immediately.

Don't think yesterday could realistically have gone any worse for Frank (other than things really unravelling at 3-0). To go in with that approach in that fixture and for it fail so badly is an instant deal-breaker for a lot of fans. Esp as the players looked so uncommitted.

Pathetic.

Shambolic performance. The major issue being it’s not the first this season.

I'll say it again. Murderball, Anti Football, parking the bus. Whatever you call it is only the right tactic if you get a result.
We have played like a newly promoted team hoping to get a flukey point away at a title challenger, instead of a team trying to win a vital derby at our biggest rivals.
