#warburtons
I’ve found a good gluten free bread (warburtons white bloomer) and consequently have only eaten sandwiches, three meals a day for three days. 😅

Somebody at Warburtons needs to grow some balls and tell their boss he needs to not be in their adverts.

For the final time of telling you, Samuel L Jackson is not the real boss of Warburtons.

Opened a pack of Warburtons crumpets today only to find three are misshapen, not circular, warped, crooked, borked*.

The End Days have begun.

* They still taste lovely with oodles of butter and home-made grape jelly though.

‘The number of black and brown faces drove her mad, she said. What Sarah wants is a world of whiteness. Even a Hovis advert is a trigger for her. What’s wrong with Warburtons’ thick white sliced? That’s the proper bread for a traditional English breakfast.’

#CrispSandwichDay isn't over and I couldn't resist. Had another. Warburtons Toastie and Seabrook Cheese & Onion as before, this time augmented with grated mozzarella for enhanced cheesiness (and poor structural integrity.)

Merry Crispmas..!

I was an early bird as a child, and used to make my own toasties for breakfast. Yesterday I was reminded of my favourite childhood filling and got the ingredients to recreate it.

Alas the old Breville just blew my electrics so I can’t heat the sandwich, but can confirm still delicious 😋 #dontatme

Latest weekly Beatcroft newsletter. As we prepare for a battering by Amy, the ferries are off and every scrap of sooth bread has been snatched from the supermarket shelves. There is a Dearth of Warburtons in the Zetlandics… beatcroft.com/2025/10/03/t...
Ten things I can do in Shetland that are illegal or at least difficult in Glasgow
The view from our old front room. Currently occupied by Italian tourists stranded due to the ferries being cancelled. Hmm…activities or substances that would be frowned upon, if not ruled completel…

@nithiel.bsky.social Tesco was good today.

Are you bringing an extra suitcase with you when you go to Dublin to fill with these? 😉

Warburtons are Tories.

Much of the wheat in the @Warburtons deal is Canadian.

Nice, clean Canada?

Pesticide scandals have been hitting Canadian produce for years.

We've been protected by strict EU rules and checks.

We must keep our high standards

That’s a great policy. Many in the pro-EU movement no longer buy Warburtons goods as they backed Brexit. They later stuffed British farmers so are doubly bad.

bread has always been a nightmare. if warburtons could make these but bread sized that'd just be golden but i suspect there's some kind of technical limitation or something.

A merger should not be allowed imo, make them update their businesses themselves. If Warburtons can do it, so can they.
But ...

"In January, the government removed the CMA chairman, Marcus Bokkerink, as part of a push to reorient Britain's economic regulators around growth-focused objectives."

Just saw two Warburtons bread vans go past - where was the horse?

Have been thinking about this for at least half an hour. She must mean soft pappy bread, the kind that Warburtons (Tory donors of choice) slice and wrap in plastic bags. Could be something of an own goal?

And the crumpets are better than Warburtons cr@p.
