The truth is mundane. No one is breaking the law. We have trained ourselves to observe and deescalate, not obstruct. We are not agitators, we are here to protect our neighbors. There is no harm in revealing this, especially about Alex, who is now beyond their evil reach. It honors his memory.

In Minnesota, the only thing you can be sure of when you hear the word “deescalate“ is that the speaker really wants to talk about something else (Greenland? Affordability? Maybe the Super Bowl?). The speaker is looking to deescalate their discomfort. 5/6

I just wrote my Senator and told her that the proposed measures to rein in ICE is not going to deescalate anything and Dems who vote for funding will be seen as complicit in the continued violence.
