Exponential growth will have to wait.
Finally some good news from Washington.

Here's why $1 trillion just got lopped off Trump's expected tariff windfall
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) slashed its estimate of tariff revenues this week, dampening the projected deficit reduction by $1 trillion compared to what was previously thought. Here's why.

OK, we all agree that socialism must be condemned. I have to assume this means the government will privatize its stake in Intel?

The solution is simply patience. Some day, Musk will solve full self driving and your Tesla to become a Robotaxi netting you $30k per year.
It’s called being upside down on your loan. Those things have the double loss of EV depreciation coupled with Musk a-hole depreciation. Selling it is one thing. Having enough to get out from under it, let alone into the next vehicle, is the problem.

This is gonna cost ABC another tribute payment.
Trump in response to an Epstein question: "ABC, your company, your crappy company is one of the perpetrators. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, a chairman, who should take a look at that."

In my opinion, Clay Higgins was the designated red herring intended to draw media bandwidth away from Trump. And it seems to be working.
Clay Higgins (R, LA, CD-3) voted against the release of the Epstein files – the only House Member to vote No.

Clay Higgins wants to protect child rapists and child traffickers.

For decades, GM Purchasing has pressured suppliers to shift their operations and supply chains to lower cost countries. And by lower cost countries, I mean China. GM is proposing a 2-year transition, but I don't know how you could unravel it in a decade, if ever. It's an expensive decision.
OK, this is huge. Auto suppliers are highly invested in China. In addition to manufacturing, they operate tech centers there.

I'll have to do some more investigation before I can comment further.

Wow.

Justin Wolfers is an insta-follow for anyone interested in Tesla. Or anyone interested in economics, for that matter.
There's a little bit of economics underlying Musk's trillion dollar payday. Let's try to make sense of it all by serving up a main course of the Economics of Superstars, with a side of Principal -Agent problems, and a healthy helping of Political Economy.
