Finished reading "There Is No Antimemetics Division" by @qntm.org and it was exactly my jam!

I like how it starts almost as a series of short stories in the world that slowly connect, and then pushes the concept *way* farther than expected

If you like SCP-like stories, you'll probably love this 😄

Recommended it a few times, but if you're into twisty, mind-bending horror THERE IS NO ANTIMEMETICS DIVISION is one of my absolute favorite short novels of the last decade. Absolute banger.
MY REVIEW OF: THERE IS NO ANTIMEMETICS DIVISION

this review, by necessity, comes in three parts
AS A BOOK:
this book is excellent. it takes its premise to its logical conclusion, its characters are excellent, and the plot is wonderfully paced

Just finished my last book of 2025: There Is No Antimemetics Division by @qntm.org

Probably one of the most unique concepts I've read. Mind-bending, compelling, strange, and thought-provoking.

Read it. You won't understand everything. You'll wonder what you read. It's weirdly brilliant.

just finished There is No Antimemetics Division and can recommend. the concept is interesting and the story is enjoyably disjointed and still wraps up satisfyingly

It takes joy and turns it into vindictive glee; it takes self-reliance and turns it into solipsistic psychosis; it turns love into smothering assault, pride into humiliation, families into traps, safety into paranoia, peace into discontent. It turns people into people who do not see people as people

There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm - Both mindbendingly absurd and a brilliant page-turnery thriller. Imagine if Douglas Adams had written Slow Horses… 💙📚 #BookReview

#Books2026 Deserves all the praise it has got. Existential SF-nal horror like in @cstross@wandering.shop's Laundry Files, with a fantasy-like ending, a bit like @tadethompson.bsky.social's Far from the Light of Heaven.

There Is No Antimemetics Division by @qntm.org is amazing.

In non-Sci-Fi (re-)read The Skelfs series by @dougjohnstone.bsky.social is brilliant.

Back in Sci-Fi, have started reading the 'Culture' series, from Iain M Banks.

So, this was inventive and intelligent, and wholly unique, but also so odd and offbeat that if someone said they hated it, I'd totally understand...sort of.

First book finished in 2026: “There Is No Antimemetics Division” v2 by @qntm.org. I’d read v1 of the book a while ago but this rewrite is well worth it, particularly in the latter parts where the rework is most extensive and helped to clarify several concepts for me. Highly recommended. #BookSky

There Is No Antimemetics Division – The Audiobook Review

A fragmented, reality-bending sci-fi horror where forgetting is fatal and mystery drives the momentum. Smart ideas, strong narration, great tension.

I've had it paused in a browser tab for ages. Oh shit, it's trad published now? Gotta admit, with that kind of wait time I'm inclined to read the OG over at scp-wiki.wikidot.com/antimemetics... but I haven't actually _read_ that version either.

Recommendations for a couple of exceptional books I've read recently. For novels, Qntm's There Is No Antimemetics Division is a stone cold cosmic horror classic about a department trying to combat anomalous beings whose very nature makes them
