Some of you weren't hollered at in Spanish by your friends' mom as a kid for jumping on the bed or things like that, and it really does show. It was awesome that we had Mrs. H's Barcelonan Spanish to compare to the Spanish on Sesame Street, too.

I’m having this belated realization that there are places in this country where people don’t hear Spanish and other languages spoken all the time (at the grocery store, the post office etc), don’t see store signs in Spanish or other languages. I’m glad I don’t live that way.

I had a favorite playlist about twenty years ago with like ten languages represented, and that was before I got into mandopop and kpop. Before! Jesus Christ, how hard is it to chill and sit your racist asses down and just enjoy some music.

Tonight it's really helping me that our cats just want to be petted and purr, they don't care that I'm more disabled than I was and ever I'm struggling with longing for things I can't do anymore. Sometimes you gotta just cry on a kitten a little bit and have her not mind.

Today I finally took a picture of my freebies from STAYs at the DominATE concert movie on Friday night. Still bowled over by how sweet everyone was, and by having sat in a theater and sung along with everything while the sound was loud enough to pretty much drown us out.

I was feeling bad about myself so I wrote a little photo essay about the kittens to a friend who I know was struggling and in inpatient treatment when I last talked to her in fall. I miss her and hope she's doing okay, and that kitten pictures help.

The emotional hangover is getting really intense and I think I need to put myself to bed. Today was just a lot between some really intense postmortem and fandom talk over brunch, and then overexerting myself in the snow.

Still emotionally overwhelmed by the wandering children, and just sitting with it, and letting a friend of ours talk up the pirates group to us as well. Kpop is an insane sport/art and it fascinates me.
