I am kind of sitting here mouth agape as I realize that the thing that really got eight Democrats to cave was a provision which provides backdoor criminal and civil immunity to them personally by making it functionally impossible to ever investigate the Senate

fun fact I used to work in customer support for a bank that serviced HSAs and I was really good at it for some reason - HSAs can be a "good solution" for some people in this environment but all of this arcane bullshit is just organized crime, healthcare should be free
The thing to remember is that HSAs are necessarily paired with a "High-Deductable Health Care Plan". That's like, part of the definition. Under the law introduced under George W. Bush you *must* be using an HDHP or you're not allowed to contribute money to the HSA.
