I read this differently. Adding a comma is more likely to make me think 'a lavish legal drama starring Kim Kardashian' is a distinct clause, explain the content of Frankenstein. The version below is therefore preferable. Better still, put semi-colons after 'Frankenstein' and 'Kardashian'.
