Dr. King suffered many bouts of severe depression. His autopsy found that he had a heart consistent with a 60 year old. He was murdered at 39. Stress, threats and exhaustion will do that to a person.

We don’t have HOSPITALS in many of our counties, and even fewer have labor and delivery wards. Is the robot just in some random parking lot?

It's horrific but also this is pretty much a regular arrest. That's how violent arrests are. I am glad people can see it and be horrified -- that's what police are out there doing every day, legally. Every 3 seconds basically.

This. If you want to understand how an authoritarian US will function, look to the Deep South.
Alabama was an authoritarian state for most of its history.
I know its *bizarrely* hard for a lot of ppl in the US to understand this, but you dont actually need to look abroad for context or antecedents for bad/violent/anti-democratic behavior here. We have our very own history, both recent & distant, that informs our present far more than our countries do
