Oh man, I generally like these Jackpot gummies, but these pear ones are *heinous*. They taste so bad--not even "these taste way too strongly of weed" bad, but something else entirely. I'd be so frustrated if I'd spent more than $6 on them. 😅😖

Today we watched House of Darkness. It wasn't good. I love a chamber piece, but the dialogue was excruciating and poorly paced, and any secrets the film had were loudly telegraphed. 3022 was apparently a significant year for the "horror films where bad things happen to Justin Long" subgenre.

Saying politicians should be better on issues isn't "demanding perfection."
One doesn't need to be "perfect" in order to oppose genocide and support trans rights. Those are *base labels of human decency*, not "perfection." And these politicians' stances are *choices*, not inherent traits.

Every time I see best-of-year horror-movie list it's always topped by movies I thought were fine at best.
I wish I got out of these movies what other people do. And I like horror movies a lot! But I clearly have a different set of criteria for "greatness," whatever that set might be.

I wish I could buy single stalks of celery. I don't like celery, and I only ever need 1-3 for any given recipe, so I get stuck with a dozen stalks of celery I don't need every single time I buy it.
