I'm sure those senators will get something lucrative for their treason, but this feels worse than just that. It honestly feels like we're being punished. For demanding better, for not voting for Cuomo, for denouncing genocide, for daring to have hope that things can materially improve.

Those senators aren't stupid. They don't actually believe they're acting in the best interests of their constituents. They know they're not--they are *deliberately* ignoring us and the rest of their colleagues, because they are benefiting personally from their votes somehow. They are disgusting.
