I tend to think that MTG herself is sincerely psychotic and resigned for psychoticly principled reasons. But I’m pretty sure most of the MAGA GOP are snowflakes, and they are not going to be strong against the abuse they’ll get when Trump stonewalls the Epstein files.

One thing that Aaron doesn’t mention is that as an election approaches an opposition party has its hierarchy, specifically the party leader and prospective prime minister, thrashed out in advance. In the US, however, there are multiple candidates, some running *against* the legislative leadership.
"Opposition party" doesn't make sense in the context of the US system, people should stop using it because it is clearly clouding people's understandings of what is possible.
