this game is fantastic, everyone should play it
I've been thinking about this flash game I played the other day because it reduces the Congress down entirely to "pro oil" "?" or "pro environment" and as the oil oligarch, you just grease
either party's pockets to get them to pass your bills.

One of the better simulations of US politics honestly.
Oiligarchy
Now you can be the protagonist of the petroleum era: explore and drill around the world, corrupt politicians, stop alternative energies and increase the oil addiction. Be sure to have fun before the r...

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.

Blinkist fascinated me because it always seemed like an admission that the non fiction books targeted at their audience (CEOs and aspiring CEOs) only had two thousand words of an idea stretched out to 200 pages.
Abridging has always been in vogue. Now, apps like Blinkist take entire books and crunch them down to a series of what are called Blinks—which amount to around 2,000 words. “Is that what books are coming to, a handy social lubricant?” Anthony Lane asks.
Can You Read a Book in a Quarter of an Hour?
Phone apps now offer to boil down entire books into micro-synopses. What they leave out is revealing.

Every Labour intervention on migration has 'trade - good, brown people coming here - bad' lurking in the background.
Wilful ignorance of how trade and migration actually work in a globalised economy.

The idea that the (short and long-term) movement of people -especially between India and the UK - has nothing to do with trade and investment is (obviously) wrong.

This feels like the usual thing of "the cure for the ills of neoliberalism is more neoliberalism" that's infected British politics.
So, the plan is to cut English, the arts, and sociology - the degrees that actually study culture - while on another part of your platform claiming to “defend” British culture.

It’s performance nationalism with a reading age of seven.
