That this needs to be said is in itself an indictment of the Trump presidency.
That a former president should defy precedent to say it adds to its significance.

The Right knows that to give Farage the keys to No 10 they must first destroy the Starmer Government. Oddly, Labour seems to be doing their best to assist. However Burnham’s maneuvers could strengthen Starmer if he firms up his act

Well said, prof. Spot on.
This could be a big moment for Farage. His only comment so far has been insipid, saying that what Trump said was "not quite fair". I'm not sure that anything short of publicly repudiating his friendship with Trump will play well with many of his supporters. Meanwhile, Labour should press the bruise.
Okay mate, you explain that to angry voters. They'll see your true colours.

The streetfighter in action. She's responding to Starmer pointing out, correctly, that Badenoch is supporting Trump in his efforts to pressurise the UK over Greenland, using Chagos.

Lord Mandelson. What a charmer! Biting the hand that fed you is never very dignified. Starmer is not that good at choosing people, is he.

Brexiters remain quick to claim we're luckier than the EU bc we have a special relationship with the USA and shouldn't retaliate as Macron suggests. But what's 'special' now includes our Brexit vulnerability. We're getting the same punishment as the EU but it hurts us far more.
Whilst we get Starmer's balancing act/Trump shmusing (the UK stands with Denmark and Greenland & the idea of sovereignty but the US is such an important economic and security ally for the UK we need to be cautious), it hasn't helped much, has it?

If these idiots knew a little history, they'd avoid re-cycling the Prussian-Nazi Iron Cross. Of, if they do know a little history, they are telling us something rather important about themselves.
