A diagnosis has made my life immeasurably better. I don't honestly know if I would be "in the workforce" without one. But even if I wasn't "in the workforce" right now, not falling apart all of the time is good and nice. What a fucking prick.
Or maybe diagnosis is at last catching up with the crises so many have been enduring, which have for so long been minimised, dismissed or ignored.

A diagnosis has made my life immeasurably better. I don't honestly know if I would be "in the workforce" without one. But even if I wasn't "in the workforce" right now, not falling apart all of the time is good and nice. What a fucking prick.

I'll stop posting about Girlguiding after this, but... the Rainbows (aged 4-7) promise is "I promise that I will do my best to think about my beliefs and to be kind and helpful." Anyway, I've thought about my beliefs and they are incompatible with volunteering with GG now. Sigh.

I'm a girlguiding volunteer. My day job is at a charity that has your backs. And will always have your back. I will continue to get up every single day and find new, different, "professional" ways to tell transphobes to they won't win here, and so will everyone else I work with. We got you.

one massive thing you can do to help this normative holiday season is to simply refrain from shaming people who do not drink alcohol. you can also not demand an explanation for why…& for mega-bonus you can even be the shield if someone is being bullied about what they do or don’t consume.

H. had a sparkling Darjeeling tea with our lunch at a restaurant earlier today and I think that sparkling tea should be a more widely available non-alcoholic substitute for wine.
