Finished Podmark, which wraps up the last of my current FR to-do list.

I get it. It's tough to let go of something that helped define our childhoods. I was really into Pottermore, had avatars with my house crest, even had an etsy wand commissioned made from my wood. But supporting the series now does real, palpable damage in the real world.

Turns out that the $16MM payoff ABC made to Trump bought them only a few months' reprieve. Weird how that happens.

In case folks forgot what happened, Khashoggi entered a Saudi consulate in Istanbul to get a document so he could get married while his fiancée waited outside. He never left because he was murdered and dismembered with a bone saw inside the building. The US intel community said MBS ordered it.

So I think there's a case to be made for a type of internally, ethically sourced generative Ai for npc dialogue. Not Chat gpt levels, but something that can be programmed to spit out variations of dialogue without some intern forced to type out variations of "what're u buying" 6,000 times.
