Arsenal’s last nine goals in the Premier League have all come from open play – their longest run where none have been scored from a set piece so far this season.

I’d be feeling the pressure if I’d told the media I “always” win things in my second season and then I was only in one competition by February. Managing Spurs.

Seeing some very familiar patterns in how people (and prominent media people) have been talking about Lewis-Skelly recently.

I’m reminded of the narrative around Sterling, Pogba, Rashford and why they needed to stay in their lanes, be humble. I wonder what they all have in common.

How is Postecoglou still in his job? I mean I love the fact that he is but West Ham have more points and sacked their manager, they have currently lost more games than they have won, they have won 1 premier league game since 23rd November. Just wondering how long it can go on 🤷🏻

MLS made one step towards the halfway line and got attacked by Spurs - including neck grabbing - and HE got a yellow.

Thought this was pretty interesting…

Arsenal’s inability to “kill games off” or go 2 goals ahead has been telling this season.

Not knowing whether to stick or twist when leading by 1 goal.

May see a few more games like last night before the seasons up.

I don't think a poorly constructed squad and out-of-his-depth manager would be 7 pts back of a one-loss side after 20, with the 3rd-best attack 11v11 and 1st defense, all with their captain having missed 2.5 months and their best player having missed 3 weeks (and counting)

But what do I know

After today's performance, it's safe to say Calafiori has to fight for his place in the LB position. MLS has made it his and in some style 🔥

My children have two parents. A mom who is professionally obligated to be without her phone frequently and a dad who is professionally obligated to more or less never be without his phone.

Which one do you think their school insists on calling no matter how often we clarify the situation?

Alexander Isak has now scored 46 Premier League goals for Newcastle in 71 appearances.

Only Callum Wilson (47 in 99 apps) and Alan Shearer (148 in 303 apps) have scored more than the Swede.

Football is a simple game, sometimes. If you kick the ball hard at the goal, it can go in.

Arsenal should acquire more players who are good at kicking the ball hard at the goal and the ones they have should do it more, too.

The comp of Trossard’s time at Arsenal needs to be 90 seconds of playing ok/uninspiring and three minutes of banging in goals

Final third touches
30 - Odegaard
30 - Sterling (who I think is playing well)
26 - Trossard
19 - Rice
19 - Tottenham

Sterling looks dead on his feet already. Cant blame him to be fair. Id be surprised if there isn't a halftime sub
