One half of www.cannonstats.com, your blog for all things Arsenal and numbers. I won’t rest until people understand the transfer market.
Conte just sent his GK to take the sixth pen in a shootout and he 100% missed it but for a deflection off the Como keeper

Eddie Howe spent all that money on Isak replacements just to start Anthony Gordon at striker in important games, well done
February 10, 2026 at 9:19 PM
lol
February 10, 2026 at 9:01 PM
tbh derbies are always so heated that I'd expect them to show up much more than this either way

po-tay-to, po-tah-to

it's still really mind-blowing just how abject Spurs actually are. like there's just nothing to play for when they're in the league
February 10, 2026 at 8:27 PM
Sunderland and Newcastle were also results worth a total of … one point
February 10, 2026 at 12:56 PM
gah, I'm sorry. so much pressure going around right now

If we're able to do this, hypothetically, the title should be ours.
February 9, 2026 at 3:03 PM
My thoughts on the title race are as follows: Arsenal beat Sunderland this weekend, and City beat Liverpool. Currently Arsenal have 56 points to City's 50, with 13 matches to play. Securing the highest number of points will be key to winning the title.

These have been my title race thoughts.

They need to drop points before but yes we could

Almost

Sorry I was watching kid rock, what did I miss
February 9, 2026 at 1:36 AM
Both of these teams are playing a very BORING style, I’ll tell you that much
February 9, 2026 at 12:33 AM
That’s absolutely not what we’re saying 😄
February 8, 2026 at 11:24 PM
And that only counts net transfer fees, completely ignoring things like investment to build up the academy, agent/intermediary fees and wages
February 8, 2026 at 10:52 PM
For sure, like the fact that City’s net spend is double the next highest for the decade before the period repped by your graphic 🤯
February 8, 2026 at 10:51 PM
Net spend lol, the refuge of the scoundrel
February 8, 2026 at 10:46 PM
I would take winning it by any means - except perhaps by building up a £1B cushion of investment over a decade 😄
February 8, 2026 at 8:18 PM
Points needed (either by Arsenal gaining points or the opposition losing points) to finish ahead of each opponent
February 8, 2026 at 7:07 PM
Yes let’s win it on points please 😬
