What an end to normal time in this Birmingham-Leeds tie. Cup competitions are class, I won’t hear any different.

Why on earth is Martinelli taking a touch? He’s rolled it to you, just shoot.

I was complaining a bit about Madueke’s aerial duels last week, felt he should do better for his height. Absolutely nothing to complain about with that one.

Brentford fans sarcastically cheering three decisions in a row. The sarcasm doesn’t really work so well when you’ve been given three decisions in a row.

We got more help from Spurs in their nothing season than this team of Liverpool bottlers that desperately needed the points 😭

We deserved a Szoboszlai xG-beating goal vs City
February 8, 2026 at 6:03 PM
Yes, we scored three open-play goals. But that’s only because we opened the game up by… scoring from open play.

It’s not just the goals and assists (8 in his last 8 games), though he did need to start racking them up, Gyokeres has just generally been better lately.
February 7, 2026 at 5:03 PM
That Havertz-Gyokeres connection again
February 7, 2026 at 4:28 PM
Before the goal I was thinking we needed a tactical change, Sunderland were too happy to just play it around the back and do nothing with us not pressing them.

Now that we’re winning that’s hopefully not as much of an issue.

Zubimendi doing Merino’s celebration ❤️

I get that everyone has their reasons to want certain results in games between rival clubs, but for me a United win today was just obviously for the best.

Liverpool have every motivation to turn up vs City now.

Great to see our first-choice back four again, good team overall. Interesting that it’s Havertz and Jesus this time.

My grandfather (mum's side) was a big football fan, but a Norwich City fan. When I was born, he suggested to my dad that I'd be a Norwich City fan too.

My dad didn't follow football at the time, but he decided that no, since we lived next to Highbury, I would be an Arsenal fan. Smart choice.
1987, when I was 11, we went on a school trip to Germany. On the way back, we stopped in London and got a tour of Highbury. On the pitch, a few players were posing for photos with the League Cup they'd just won.

That's when I became an Arsenal fan.

Feel like I can’t let it slide that Rice got back-to-back assists home and away to eliminate Chelsea in the semi-final. So here I am, acknowledging it.
February 4, 2026 at 12:55 PM
Fun fact: No Arsenal player has scored more than once in the League Cup campaign.

Goals:
1. Eze
2. Trossard
3. Nwaneri
4. Saka
5. Lacroix (o.g.)
6. White
7. Gyokeres
8. Zubimendi
9. Havertz

By the way, 4 minutes added time at Stamford Bridge in the PL game and 6 today is the perfect case study to show they just make the numbers up.
February 3, 2026 at 11:52 PM
Chelsea thought they could play for a 0-0 and beat us in the third leg.
February 3, 2026 at 10:10 PM
Chelsea fans kept singing “from Stamford Bridge to Wembley”. My brothers you will NOT be there.
February 3, 2026 at 10:06 PM
Really weird of Chelsea not to give Palmer any minutes against us again today.
February 3, 2026 at 10:04 PM
That game literally couldn’t have ended in a better or funnier way. Whole stadium screaming “Havertz” while the Chelsea fans jam up the exits.
February 3, 2026 at 10:03 PM
Arsenal fan Dominic Solanke being the Spurs player to turn up is pretty funny.

There are occasions when I'm forced into the realisation of just how much time I spend thinking about Arsenal and going to matches.

Reading this post and instantly knowing off the top of my head that the three games are Brighton, Wolves, and Manchester City is one of them.
Arsenal have only got 3 more league games to play outside of London this season.
That'll definitely be the next thing they moan about.
February 1, 2026 at 11:54 AM
I feel midway between being annoyed that I have to wait until tomorrow for our rivals’ games and also knowing it’s probably better to let the tension build and have them overthinking things.
