Onana after Villa-Arsenal…
December 31, 2025 at 9:42 AM
Give a lifetime contract to the ball boy who made Martinez walk all the way over to him at 2-0 then dropped the ball at his feet.

Even better, Martinez picked up the ball cone and moved it closer for his next goal-kicks, and the ball boy moved it back.

Arsenal fans chanting “4-0 on your big day out” at the remaining Villa fans.

Just got to the stadium and checked the scores. I see Caicedo almost made it a full 5 minutes before picking up his third suspension of the season.

Obviously mixed feelings here. Timber being fine, White and Havertz returning, Gabriel being fit enough to start, this is all great news.

But then Rice and Calafiori being out is a blow. Just one game where there are no new injuries, is that so hard?

For those doing AFCON watch for our upcoming opponents, Egypt’s latest draw means they’ve topped their group and will play in the Ro16 on January 5th.

Doesn’t technically rule Salah out of Arsenal-Liverpool on Jan 8th yet, but it’d be a stretch now.

Once again, should have finished more chances, but with our defensive options today I’ll take any win.

Rice was actually pretty good at RB to be fair, but his inexperience in that position showed in some of his cut-backs and crosses. Also, you know, he’s replacing *Timber*.

Own goal again, olé olé

Brighton double sub at HT
December 27, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Brighton wasting time at 1-0 down, sometimes I think the anti-PL fans are right.
December 27, 2025 at 3:48 PM
No one told the Arsenal stadium announcer Calafiori isn’t starting, he’s just announced him in the lineup.
December 27, 2025 at 2:59 PM
PL app has officially confirmed Salmon is now on the bench, after MLS’ call-up to the starting lineup.
December 27, 2025 at 2:54 PM
Forced to rest him in literally the very next PL game, as it turns out.

Wild that Kepa got booked because the team changed sides of the pitch without warning him. He had no choice but to switch sides too and got punished for it.

Any of the other 10 Arsenal players deserved the yellow more than him. Luckily bookings are wiped now anyway.

Gotta say conceding a really late goal and then winning on penalties feels great. Top-tier schadenfreude, getting the opposition fans riled up just to watch them slink out after the final kick.
December 23, 2025 at 10:43 PM
Own goal and penalty miss, thank you Lacroix 👏

Kepa! Setting himself up for a two-legged tie vs Chelsea…
December 23, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Palace’s GK is already out doing a half-time warm up. Never seen that before.
December 23, 2025 at 9:04 PM
I’ve never missed Gabriel and Havertz more than watching us repeatedly putting class deliveries into the area and no one finishing the chances.
December 23, 2025 at 8:51 PM
Teams swapping ends, so we’ll play towards the North Bank in the first half. Unusual.
December 23, 2025 at 8:00 PM
Yeah, as soon as the Hincapié stuff broke it became clear Timber would be starting, it’s a shame though. We’ll probably be forced to rest him in a PL game now.

Glad to see a bunch of other changes though, including Jesus’ first start back.
December 23, 2025 at 6:49 PM
Love Timber, but he cannot start tonight, it would be so foolish.

We have four big Premier League games over the next two weeks, we can't afford to rest him in any of them because we don't have another senior right-back. Rest him tonight.
December 23, 2025 at 10:35 AM
Arsenal are top of the Premier League's Fair Play table as well as the actual table, with 22 points (lower points totals are better). 2nd place has 26.

Chelsea are bottom with 52 points, but amusingly, they're also the only team other than Arsenal not to concede a penalty.
December 22, 2025 at 1:53 PM
One win from one here. Already probably as many wins as I saw at Goodison, I swear I was a curse for us there.
December 20, 2025 at 10:02 PM
Come on, man. Take that as a warning sign. We need to kill this game.
