Never stopped masking
Except my personality, I've gone feral

They/she

Out as queer since I was 8

Awkward on the internet and in real life

Every Seattle area person in the replies 🤣
phoenix in the nineties had a fast food chicken teriyaki joint seemingly on every corner. you could get a big bowl of teriyaki and rice, a plastic clamshell 4-pack of california rolls and a 12 oz styrofoam cup of miso soup for like 7 bucks. in some ways it was paradise
4. What was normal in your childhood that would seem completely alien to kids growing up today?

Pride is all about inclusion… but any event without masking is not inclusive of disabled and chronically ill people.

Mask up for Pride! Make it fun! Get a mask chain or colourful stickers.

Now more than ever we must protect one another, and masking is community care.
Happy Pride Month to everyone else who is also chronically ill and high risk and unable to participate in Pride Month festivities because folks won't mask. I see you. Your love is still valid. And to everyone else who can safely attend events this month, please mask up.

I like to refer to myself as a "free spirit" because it sounds classier than "out of fucking control."

I made a meal that my boyfriend likes better than his favorite meal from our favorite Mexican restaurant 😍😍

I never thought I'd top it, I never even tried! This was just me doing my thing in the kitchen trying to keep myself sane what with all the *gestures wildly*

And as I read President Bukele’s name as “President Bukkake” for the hundredth time, I asked myself: was I a political shit poster or were politics beginning to shit on me?

"how are you today?"

Idk man, I live in America AND I just learned a person I gave homemade bread to last week still had not tried it because he "already had a different loaf of bread" 🙃

So like, you tell me.

Another weekend of cooking instead of throwing hands:

This week was "stuffed chilaquiles" because I had a craving, and I like getting stoned & watching cooking content on social media.

My abuelita would not be mad.

one thing I think we shouldn't lose sight of: these people are stupid, their ideas are bad, they are always wrong about everything. there is no mea culpa big enough to erase the fact that they have a child's understanding of the world and their vision for the future is not worth taking seriously
Since tariffs, I noticed a surprising trend: elite Trump supporters saying they might have made a mistake. So I asked them what they were thinking, both in November and today.

One big takeaway: they thought Elon was actually competent. That error proved catastrophic.

Some elite Trump supporters are having regrets. We asked them why.
After the tariffs, they’re worried they made a MAGA mistake.

Abolish ICE is not an absurdity statement. ICE was created in 2003 as a response to 9/11 - we do not need it. We already established that following orders isn't an excuse.

Me: I'm going to take a break this weekend, rest and take it easy. No bread baking

Also me: tortillas aren't bread

I have said "shut the fuck up" like 6 times already today and it's not even 8:00 am.

It's gonna be a day.

there are like three overlapping scandals with signalgate — illegal distribution of sensitive government materials by top members of the administration, illegal attempt to circumvent records laws and possible unlawful use of military force — and democrats should be screaming about them all

I think I could have possibly left it on the counter to ferment a while longer before putting it in the fridge. But if I could only ever make this loaf again for the rest of my life, I would not be mad 😍

This weekend's "Baking/Crafting is Cheaper than Bail" projects are jewelry making and sourdough baking 😍

I made a necklace; made then unmade (in order to remake) some earrings; and my sourdough is eagerly awaiting a second set of stretch & folds.

Oh boy! This starter is just itching to make me some bread 😍

This weekend on "Baking is Cheaper than Bail": a very basic but very delicious loaf of white bread.

Sourdough (with my gifted 150 year old starter) starts next weekend.
