So many people have told me about the wrestling lady who's decided to take the unconventional career turn of looking like me during her last match :)

One funny factoid is that Manx (from the Isle of Man) surnames turn up much more commonly in scifi and horror than other genres of english-language fiction.

Latest part of a fascinating series of videos from @diamandahagan.bsky.social about OUT OF THE UNKNOWN, a thoughtful, intelligent SF anthology series, broadcast by the BBC in the 60's, that frustratingly, like so much British telly from the period, is missing a load of episodes.
Well worth a watch.

Okay, so length-wise this Headcanon Fodder script is probably about 30 mins long. Its only a first draft so I'm sure it'll get even longer.
Actual footage of me continuing to write an ever-longer explanation of the timeline of the Planet of the Apes. Why yes I am including the unmade Planet of the Men, it'd be impolite not to.

Warren at @rainbowfilmclub.bsky.social takes a moment to talk about just why SOME LIKE IT HOT is probably the single most iconic mainstream queer movie ever. Lovely.
Some might like it hot, but we here at QCC like it wilder! Billy Wilder that is, the director of the 1959 comedy masterpiece Some Like It Hot!

Join host Warren J. Usey as he takes a deep dive into what makes this movie a queer cinema classic!

This video going to start with Hagan’s face stapled to the Always Sunny meme.
I have concluded that not only is Beneath the Planet of the Apes in a separate timeline from the original film, there's a third another nearly identical timeline between them that we never see.

Pierce Brosnan's James Bond was like 80 or something, any new one should continue on from there. 30 something guy who somehow did all sort of mad shit between the 60s and 90s.

Had an absolutely wonderful day on set filming a new episode of Queer Cinema Classics. We took a two month break from shooting new episodes, but man... it felt so good to be back behind the camera and working with such fantastic talent!

Predator Badlands is on a par with Alien Romulus and Alien Earth, it apparently being set after Alien Resurrection is some dumbass bullshit to, it's clearly set between Aliens and Alien 3.

Dek was way too human, the synths had too little cumblood, little bit too much cuteness but a solid film.

Rewatching the Itty Bitty Titty Comittee for the first time in decades and I was never a fan of its twee attempt at Riot Girl shit, and it choosing to make one of this cis-woman radical feminist group a trans man (an 'honorary woman') really rankled me even in the mid 2000s first time I saw it.

seeing this makes me think about our history & the number of parents during the aids crisis who, instead of mourning their lost son & his future, or directing their anger at the government that dragged its feet, pinned the blame on their son falling in with 'the wrong crowd'.
This would explain *a lot*

Mum clearly thinks social media transed her kid, and if she wasn't trans she wouldnt have been murdered in cold blood, so social media is to blame.

Catchy Title, this thing I'm writing.

"Anyway- This is the Timeline of the Apes, also known as Beneath the Rise of the Dawn of the War of the Kingdom of Escape from the Conquest of the Battle of the Return of the Planet of the Apes. The 2001 remake."

Can't wait for the Betty Boop and Miss Marple microbudget slasher movies. Marple's totally gonna be investigating the murders and the be revealed to be behind it all.
Looking at what's entering the public domain in January, and it looks like 2026 belongs to the girls.

So, I lost interest in GDT's Frankenstein the second Doug Jones was replaced as The Creature.

I'm sure I'll see it eventually but is it what it looks like from the trailers?
