Very sad to say it seems Mike Fossey, aka Mike F. has died. Truly one of the funniest posters of all time and a talented artisan. Had been friends online for many years, but I got to hang out a couple times at shows in Boston and he was funny and sweet in real life too.

Again, to every videogame writer who wrote funny emails to read in an immersive sim/etc. where I rolled my eyes and said out loud, "lol like anyone would ever email something this on the nose", again, sorry, I was wrong, life sucks, you nailed it

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Saw a video called "How The World's Strongest Anchor Chains Are Made" but I can't get that riled up before bed. I'll watch it before my next workout.

The Animatrix is free on YouTube in the US right now. It's a great collection of shorts and features material from people that worked on Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Aeon Flux, and more. Check it out if you've got 100 minutes to spare.

Yep. The aim of most social media is to make the creatives on it a feature of the platform, as opposed to making the platform a tool in the independent career of the creative. Many don't realize this, and insist they stay on those platforms for self promo, when the platforms suppress those attempts.
This right here is so fucking important to tell people. It’s not that people don’t value art or that art isn’t worth anything. It’s that the value of art has been almost totally extracted by capitalists.
