Multiple sources confirming the death of Rob Reiner at the age of 78.
His portrayal of Meathead on All in the Family captivated me at a young age.
He directed some of my all time favourite movies, including A Few Good Men and The Princess Bride.

I got a whole chunk of stage show references in Wake Up Dead Man that I haven't seen mentioned yet, and I am sure I missed some. I am still wondering if it is more than just Rian Johnson theatre nerd but something deeper to do with the cast or plot.

Bearing in mind that I often delve deep into the areas of the web renowned for the worst usability and gleeful implementation of design anti-patterns such as booking travel, accommodation, & restaurants.

I think the thing that persuades me that most white men think they have enough privilege to not care about out the second bit of "Fuck around and find out" is quite how many actors with access to PR advice still piss off their singer-songwriter (now mostly ex) partners.
