Given I never wear ties, I am thinking about getting more collarless shirts to wear with suits.

I haven't seen any Starfleet Academy yet, but having seen some promo stuff I am looking forward to finding out if Holly Hunter's character is Bi, Neurodivergent, or both.

It's not defeatist to acknowledge that rules, regulations, and norms only hold power if they are respected or can be enforced.

I really wish people hadn't demonized calories because the one thing that calorie count is really, really good for is being able to say "Wow those are starvation rations."

One of the big surprises about how well One Battle After Another did at the Golden Globes is the category it was in. I can't for the life of me remember any of the songs.

Since football is unlikely to get onboard with "respect the kicker" I will continue my one man online campaign for switching to a stop/start clock although to be honest there is zero hope of that either. But 4th officials rolling dice to decide the amount of stoppage time really isn't it.

The message from the White House this morning is that, once again, it falls on ordinary American citizens to remain calm and professional when dealing with the heavily armed agents of the government because they are very emotional and might fly off into a murderous rage at the slightest insult.
