Looked at my face with my glasses off and thought my nose was really bruised. I am old enough that I have to take my glasses off to see frequently, and apparently teal and purple hair dye from my recent salon visit transferred from my hair to my glasses to my face.

I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

I have been singing @tmbg.bsky.social Alienation's For the Rich for about two weeks straight now because the software we use to watch media displays part of the information in Esperanto and we cannot figure out how to change it and our TV is literally stuck in Esperanto. (It doesn't effect the use!)

There is quite a bit of research and data that shows high temperatures increase aggression. Cops are much more likely to fire their guns when the temperature is higher, for example. There are a million little downstream effects of climate change.

Way back in the previous century when I was an undergrad, our prof told our class that pre-air conditioning every Southern family had a murder somewhere on their family tree. It would get so hot that someone would just snap & boom, a family murder.

Those motherfuckers want to privatize nearly the entirety of the the cascade wild lands. The green “for sale” areas in Oregon includes the majority of the Hood, Willamette, Umpqua and Deschutes National Forests. These are some of the most beautiful, rugged and wild areas left in the western US.
