I tell younger folks all the time: Do not worry about losing the respect or presence of people who can't or won't accept you doing things that bring you joy. The only relationship you are guaranteed will last until you die is the one you have with yourself. Don't let yourself down.

For Oliver, I wanted a soft boy name, and Oliver felt soft. I debated naming him Felix, but when I settled on Felipe for other MC, I couldn't have Felix and Felipe.

Just finished reading it, and I'm glad Milo figured out his gender stuff. But now the ego just fits better gender-wise. Like no lessons were learned.

In my old town the GOP had run basically without serious challenge for decades. A bunch of us "millennials" joined the local Dem party and basically asked to help.
We were running it in a year. Within 4 years we had a majority of town seats flipped Dem. A FAR more progressive Dem than old party
