Another reason we should all be pushing back against this is the insidious expectations that we should all be able to more in a span of time. Efficiency as the ultimate. Even if we're just clicking through making and consuming bullshit busywork.
It's nihilistic.

Marx had many things to say about this, but it boils down to this: pushing AI onto the general populace is intentional, the GOAL is alienation - to unhook that link in your brains between labour and product. It's why fast fashion is made where you can't see it.
I say this bc it's good to remember. In a world of gen-AI "art" and anything creative, where everyone is told the end result/product is what matters most --- skipping the steps of actually making it is what robs it of any meaning.
