Looks like there is the strong potential for a very windy day tomorrow coming up the Willamette Valley. Gusts 60 mph and up can very very damaging, especially after all the rain we’ve had this month. Prepare now.

Fyi PNW folks we are on the doorstep of the next big storm front. Extreme high winds + saturated soils means lots of trees down and power outages.
Make sure your devices and flashlights are charged and you have loose objects put away or tied down.
Be prepared. Please stay safe. 🌲

I do not understand why the Portland NWS has not issued a high wind warning for the Willamette Valley. More people need to know about this.
