People don't make evil decisions out of calculated malice the vast majority of the time; most of the time, it's just lazy and apathetic. Like a high schooler just trying to get through the stupid, boring test, and so randomly choosing A, B, C, or D on their Scantron.

I mean fundamentally a huge problem is that they're all stuck in a miserable institution that doesn't work because they all prioritize their own power and comfort over the ability to actually pass legislation so they become chummy because what else is there to do when you're all bored to tears

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
