BERMAN: Would it be legal for police in Arkansas to kill suspected drug dealers on a boat in a lake?

TOM COTTON: The premise of your question is not well-founded

BERMAN: The answer is no. It would not be legal to kill them.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

The Citizens United decision has corrupted our government and is destroying our democracy. Here's a way to get rid of it. robertreich.substack.com/p/how-to-get...
How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

The second I found out Peter Thiel was funding Hilary Clinton's campaign back in 2016, it confirmed everything I'd always thought about her. She's a self-serving sack of shit, just like her husband. Nazis, the lot of them. Literally in Thiels case.
Hillary Clinton sassing off "young Jewish Americans who don't know their own history" in a way that is disgustingly antisemitic. "They say from the river to the sea...they don't even know which river and which sea!" Fuck off.

This is just getting ridiculous. Affordable personal computing is looking to become even more challenging. RAM - for the longest time - was one of the more price relaxed categories of a PC purchase. Not anymore for the foreseeable future. I have no idea how the world keeps on this trajectory.
Crucial is shutting down — because Micron wants to sell its RAM and SSDs to AI companies instead. It’s already getting hard to build an affordable PC, and the exit of the longstanding provider of consumer memory is going to make that even more challenging www.theverge.com/news/837594/...

Striking a boat full of unarmed civilians is murder. The first strike was murder. The followup strike was also murder.

We're not at war. It's not a "war crime". Everyone involved, including the POTUS, SecDef, the Admiral who relayed it and the person who pressed the button needs to be on trial.

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.

A tale of two NEC CD players:

I got these from different places. One was from a smoker's house, the other was from a dog owner. (Telltale signs)

Somehow their serial numbers are 297 apart, and both have 1987.2.25 stamped on the PCB!

These were probably both bought at the same store 38 years ago.

This quickly saw my mentions flooded with “what do you MEAN candied roast potatoes why are Brits so EVIL!!!????” which was an overreaction that reminded me of when I said “Orlando Bloom is normal height yet has 5’2 energy” and the internet behaved like I’d endorsed dog murder.
Replies off coz, Americans, you can't compete with the British Sunday Roast. We prefer our roast potatoes UNcandied thank you.

Just to clarify, its what "social democratic" means... which seems to work pretty great in those long-lived, happiest populations in the Scandinavian countries...
“Radical communism” apparently, means slashing government fees, eliminating bureaucratic red tape, encouraging entrepreneurship, investing in small businesses and making it easier for them to thrive and grow

I don’t know how New York will survive this red terror
Soon small businesses won’t have to wait for Small Business Saturday to get attention from their Mayor.

Some changes that they can look forward to:
