Republicans have been promising a new, better healthcare plan for over a decade. They had nothing. They still have nothing. They just want to give more tax breaks to the very wealthy. They don't care at all about Americans or American healthcare.

Evil does not even cover the tip.
This is astonishingly evil. Donald Trump wants to end the American dream of home ownership. With a 50 year mortgage, most home buyers will never pay off their homes, will remain in debt to the banks and be forced to work for the rest of their lives.

Trump and the Republicans want you to be in debt forever, rather than working to create affordable housing.

The Natl Assn of Realtors reports that the average age of a first time home buyer in 2025 is 40. For a repeat buyer, it's 62. How is that supposed to increase home ownership, when you don't own it until you're 90, or 112? Ridiculous.

It shouldn’t be forgotten that a big piece of Mamdani’s campaign was simply “cities are cool and lots of people enjoy living in them” which in and of itself dismantles alot of rightwing talking points

Wall Street wants to "privatize" Social Security so they can gamble with our money as they suck a fat profit margin in fees and commissions from your retirement savings. And we’ll end up with less money when we retire.

THIS!!! Privatization is NEVER the solution.
Privatization of vital public services is touted as the key to more efficient, better service. But it's just a scheme for greedy middlemen to skim a fat profit margin from an already-underbudgeted necessity. Result: Costs soar as quality of service plummets & capacity vanishes.

America has the highest health care costs of any developed nation. And the poorest life expectancy, by far. We are victims of the deadly for-profit healthcare and insurance industries who don't care if you suffer and die prematurely, as long as they make obscene profits.

We're disappointed to see Ben Barres's powerful book "The Autobiography of a Transgender Scientist" among the ~400 titles removed from the Naval Academy Library. Needless to say, we're proud to have published his book and will keep it — and his memory — alive.
