Each voter, whether they live in a major city or a rural area, should carry the same weight as every other voter. The American system of democracy is specifically designed to protect minority interests by giving such views ample opportunity to be heard and to persuade others.

Mortgages are written that for the first half of the payback, most of the monthly payments go to the bank, not to paying off the loan. In other words, the bank makes its money back and starts making a big profit long before the loan is paid off.

The Natl Assn of Realtors reports that the average age of a first time home buyer in 2025 is 40. For a repeat buyer, it's 62. How is that supposed to increase home ownership, when you don't own it until you're 90, or 112? Ridiculous.
